The
Need
America's first line of defense in any emergency situation is
the
community's "First Responder" - our local Police Officers, Firefighters,
and
Emergency Medical Professionals. Properly trained, equipped and
supported, First
Responders have the greatest potential to save lives and limit
casualties after a natural emergency, industrial accident or terrorist
attack. A fully functional base of operations is imperative.
The Problem
Currently, a small community’s biggest weakness is often their
dependency upon transmitted electrical power. Many departments have
degraded operational capability when a power outage occurs.
Unfortunately, some Counties and Towns do not possess adequate services
to respond to a prolonged loss of utility power.
The Solution
Jaker Engineering has recently installed power generation to the
requirements of The Department of Homeland Security. If utility power
is lost, these systems automatically provide emergency power,
often with redundant fuel sources. As a
result your local First Response team will be able to function during
blackouts with better efficiency and provide the immediate professional
response that
is required.
